Location: Preston

Salary: £29917 £32000

Schedule: 3 days on 3 days off rolling shift pattern 10:0022:00

Location details: 2bed Children's Redsidental Home

Are you a Senior Support worker looking for progression Or perhaps you are a Deputy Manager looking for a new challenge look no further!

We provide therapeutic residential care for children and young people aiming to offer the best possible care and education for those with complex needs and challenging behaviour. We emphasis the importance of working in partnership with our residents their families and placing authorities to enable each of our residents to enjoy their life within a caring and stable environment.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and determined to support the lives of children with complex and challenging needs. The Deputy Manager will provide leadership and support to staff teams to ensure highquality care is delivered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commitment to working with children and young people with complex and challenging highend behavioural needs.
  • Leading and inspiring a staff team taking responsibility for their training development supervisions and rotas.
  • Being a positive role model to the children and young people.
  • Delivering the Children’s Standards in the home.
  • Providing a safe and supportive environment for the young people.

Essential Experience:

  • Level 4 NVQ in Children Young People and Family Practitioner (or equivalent) or working towards this.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and own car.
  • At least 2 years’ experience of working in a Children's Residential home.

Key Attributes:

  • Patience motivation understanding leadership determination and ownership.
  • Ability to demonstrate the skills and knowledge required for the role.
