GoNanas is changing the way we bake with our vegan gluten free and allergenfriendly banana bread mixes. We like to think we’ve “cracked the code” to making baked goods taste truly homemade from a mix. You can’t even tell they’re betterforyou because they taste THAT good. You can find us in every Whole Foods Market Target Wegmans and other natural and conventional grocery stores and we continue to rapidly grow our nationwide distribution.

What You Will Do

As the Key Account Manager at GoNanas located in Chicago you'll play a pivotal role in driving our company's growth trajectory leveraging datadriven insights and analytics to drive revenue. Your primary responsibility will be to spearhead customer acquisition and revenue generation across channels with a focus on conventional accounts. You will do this by optimizing trade spend and effectively managing data to inform strategic decisionmaking. Additionally fostering and leveraging relationships with key stakeholders including customers brokers and distributors. Ultimately collaborating closely with the leadership team to strategize around advancing sales growth meeting revenue targets and identifying and capitalizing on expansion opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify prospect open and develop retail partnerships.
  • Drive distribution gains and velocities across key retailers.
  • Work with CoFounders to optimize trade spend in alignment with the company’s sales strategy and proactively track progress toward operational goals.
  • Prepare and meet with key customers for regular business reviews.
  • Utilize syndicated data to story tell during sales pitches conduct presentations and lead conversations with internal and external partners.
  • Build strong relationships with manage motivate and develop distributor broker and merchandiser partners.

You are highly motivated and dynamic possessing a proven track record in opening new business cultivating relationships executing retail strategies and driving strategic growth. If you embody a growth mindset exhibit a bias toward action and demonstrate strong problemsolving abilities this may be the opportunity for you!

Qualifications:

  • 35 years of proven experience in sales including account management and retail execution within the F&B CPG industry.
  • Any experience within the produce category is a plus.
  • Proven expertise in data management and analytics with a strong emphasis on leveraging insights to drive sales performance.
  • Proficiency in trade spend management analysis and execution at both strategic and operational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with conventional accounts such as Kroger and Publix.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset selfmotivated and adept at multitasking.
  • Strong strategic selling skills coupled with the ability to scale brands and drive revenue growth.
  • Experience extracting and manipulating data with excel from SPINS and other thirdparty data tools.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • This role is in office 4 days a week in Chicago.
