Role Description
This is a fulltime onsite role for a PHP Laravel Developer at WHY Global Services located in Egmore. The PHP Laravel Developer will be responsible for backend web development objectoriented programming (OOP) frontend development software development and programming tasks. The developer will be involved in concept design strategy development implementation and support of various projects.

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain web applications using PHP Laravel framework.
Collaborate with the development team to define design and ship new features.
Write clean efficient and welldocumented code following Laravel best practices.
Troubleshoot debug and fix issues in existing applications.
Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
Optimize application performance and scalability.
Stay updated with the latest Laravel releases and best practices.
Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a PHP Laravel Developer or similar role.
Strong understanding of PHP and the Laravel framework.
Proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML CSS JavaScript and jQuery.
Experience with database systems such as MySQL.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
Good understanding of version control systems preferably Git Docker.
Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
Nice to Have:

Experience with other PHP frameworks (e.g. Laravel).
Knowledge of frontend frameworks/libraries (e.g. React.js).
Understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS GCP Digital Ocean
Contribution to opensource projects or active participation in developer communities.
