ETL Datastage Developer

We are seeking an experienced ETL / Datastage Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role you will be responsible for designing developing and implementing efficient extraction transformation and loading (ETL) processes using IBM Datastage. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data integration and a deep understanding of ETL concepts and methodologies.

As an ETL / Datastage Developer you will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather data requirements and develop solutions to meet business needs. You will participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering and design to testing and implementation. You will work with large volumes of data ensuring data quality and integrity while optimizing performance and scalability.

• Design and develop ETL processes using IBM Datastage to extract transform and load data from various sources into data warehouses and data marts
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into technical designs
• Perform data profiling and analysis to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability
• Develop and maintain documentation of ETL processes and data mappings
• Implement data validation and data quality checks to ensure data accuracy
• Troubleshoot and resolve ETL job failures and performance issues
• Monitor and maintain ETL jobs and processes to ensure data availability and integrity

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum of X years of experience in ETL development using IBM Datastage
• Strong understanding of ETL concepts and methodologies
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases
• Experience with data profiling and data quality management
• Solid knowledge of data warehouse design principles and best practices
• Familiarity with dimensional modeling concepts
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Experience with data integration tools and technologies is a plus
• Knowledge of big data technologies is a plus
