snowflake administrator

We are searching for a skilled and experienced Snowflake Administrator to join our team. As a Snowflake Administrator you will be responsible for overseeing the management maintenance and enhancement of our Snowflake data warehouse environment. You will work closely with the data engineering and analytics teams to ensure optimal performance and availability of our data platform. The ideal candidate has a strong background in database administration particularly with Snowflake and is familiar with cloudbased data warehouse solutions.

• Manage and maintain Snowflake data warehouse environment ensuring high availability and optimal performance
• Design and implement data storage security and access controls within Snowflake
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues identifying and implementing necessary optimizations
• Collaborate with data engineering team to design and implement data integration processes and pipelines
• Stay up to date with the latest Snowflake features and capabilities recommending and implementing upgrades as needed
• Perform regular backups and develop disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability
• Conduct regular system health checks and proactively identify and resolve issues

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field
• Proven experience as a Snowflake Administrator or similar role
• Strong knowledge of Snowflake architecture and underlying technologies
• Extensive experience with SQL and database administration
• Familiarity with cloudbased data warehouse concepts and architecture
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work independently and in a teamoriented environment
• Certifications in Snowflake or related technologies are a plus
