Plant Manager

Our client a leading Food Production Company in the Greater Toronto Area Ontario is currently looking for a fulltime permanent Plant Manager with solid experience in food manufacturing sector.

Job: Plant Manager

Location: Greater Toronto Area ON

Skills and Abilities Required

• College or University Degree in Engineering/ Machinery Processing is preferred;
• Minimum 4 years experience managing a small to medium sized food manufacturing plant.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations HACCP and Food GMP implementation;
• A good grasp of inventory management (cycle counting materials management etc.);
• Proficient in computer skills (Excel Word Outlook and experience with ERP/BPCS systems);
• Strong understanding of sanitation food handling and food safety practices in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with automated process/packaging technology is an asset;
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement methodologies; (Six Sigma Kaizen IPM)
• Must have Plant Manager Experience from the Food processing industry.
