Project Manager PMP certified

Title: Project Manager (PMP certified)

Location: Albany NY (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage large complex IT projects for US Government agencies.
• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans covering Charter Scope Schedule Cost Quality Communication Change Risk Issue and Resource management plans.
• Utilize project tracking tools such as Microsoft Project to develop and manage formal project schedules tracking progress and variances against baselines.
• Apply both Waterfall Agile and Hybrid methodologies in project management including conducting scrum sessions and presenting schedule/status updates to leadership.
• Develop write and manage detailed Scope Documents oversee project deliverables and manage the deliverables acceptance process.
• Ensure project quality through planning quality assurance endtoend system testing quality control user acceptance testing (UAT) defect and metrics management.
• Manage COTS software implementation projects and/or inhouse application development (SDLC) projects.
• Maintain Project Management Professional Certification.

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing and leading large complex IT projects for US Government agencies.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools including Microsoft Project.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
