Inhouse IT Manager all gender

The role

As Inhouse IT Manager you are responsible and accountable for the smooth operation of our computer systems within the constraints of requirements specifications cost and time.
In close cooperation with dSPACEs IT management the incumbent oversees the implementation and maintenance of our companys computing needs and ensures compliance with regulations.You will also be the direct link between our employees and our IT department.

Your tasks

• Manage and maintain the organizations technology infrastructure including hardware software and networks
• Plan implement and monitor IT projects and initiatives ensuring the organizations technological needs are met
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and address technologyrelated issues and find innovative solutions
• Stay uptodate with industry trends and advancements to ensure the organizations technology infrastructure is in line with best practices
• Develop and implement security measures to protect the organizations digital assets and prevent data breaches
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure the best value for the organization

What will you need to be successful

• You have a degree in computer science or have a comparable qualification (e.g. IT training long years of experience in the field)
• You have excellent knowledge of technical management information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
• You have a broad expertise in data center management and data governance
• You have handson experience with computer networks network administration and network installation
• You are fluent in written and spoken english (german is a plus)
