Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
- Adhering to SLAs ITIL Processes awareness and adhering.
- Mentoring / Training Team Members Handling tickets / requests.
- Install and configure AIX/Linux operating systems and servers.
- Support AIX/Linux OS to run various software applications.
- Maintain and upgrade the AIX/Linux OS.
- Perform root cause analysis Identify and resolve system issues in a timely manner.
- Troubleshooting technical issues
- Develop procedures for AIX/Linux security and management.
- Update standard policies according to environment changes and audit result
- Support AIX/Linux OS to run various software applications
- Plan and coordinate the installation testing and maintenance of AIX systems software and related hardware.
- Plan and execute AIX/Linux projects within approved timelines.
- Analyze software and hardware environments to determine any system defects.
- Maintain documentation of AIX/Linux hardware and software components and user and operator procedures.
- Detect and troubleshoot system operational and functional issues.
- Perform performance maintenance routines to ensure continuous system availability.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
- Planning Backup/Restoration Strategy for 24x7 operation support
- Perform H/W & performance tuning and maintenance
- DaytoDay reporting analysis tasks
- Vendor coordination & followup.
