Job Title: Medical Assistant

Location: Pittsfield MA

Hourly Pay Rate: $27/hr (Negotiable)

Shift: Various shifts available:

• 7:45 AM 4:15 PM
• 8:15 AM 4:45 PM
• 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
• 8:45 AM 5:15 PM

Position Type: 13 Weeks Contract Position (40hour guarantee)

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of current experience as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in Pittsfield MA for a 13week contract position. This role offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $27/hr (negotiable) and provides guaranteed 40hour work weeks with various shift options. As a Medical Assistant you will support healthcare providers by performing clinical and administrative duties to ensure the efficient operation of the medical facility.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures by taking vital signs obtaining medical history and documenting information in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Assist healthcare providers during examinations and minor procedures.
• Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
• Perform routine laboratory tests and sample collections.
• Maintain a clean organized and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Schedule patient appointments manage patient flow and perform front desk duties as needed.
• Educate patients on treatment plans medication instructions and health maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with all health care regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of current experience working as a Medical Assistant.
• Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
