Java Application Support

Job Description:

• Excellent communication skills and person should be more collaborative with multiple internal teams.
• Should be interested working in Support projects and both regional(APAC and EMEA) shifts as well as weekend shifts on a rotational basis.
• Working exp. on Java and DB (even though its not a Dev project we need average level of knowledge on coding and debugging of Java based applications)
• Good hand on exp. with Splunk usage (No need to have Splunk admin level of knowledge but need to have good knowledge on querying regex. Usage alerts and dashboards setup etc.)
• Need to have Application log analysis skills and prior exp. to troubleshoot issues in production environments.
• ITIL / Ticket / Incident managing skills and previous work exp. on the same would be considered.
• Should be more proactive with respect to Production issues and notifying the team about ongoing and future predictive issues.
• Ensure Client SLAs are met Manage deliverables for critical applications by working with Business users and understand the IT/business SLAs.
• Collaborate with Dev/L3s on incidents/issue triages and release/change review meetings as well as identify enhancements for application platform stabilization.
• Troubleshoot Major Incidents involving and engaging all necessary teams create post mortems and ensure closure of incident.
