Painter

Job Title: Painter
Location: Garden City NY 11530
Duration: 12 months (Possible extension)

Job Responsibilities:

• Duties include Masking Priming painting and part marking pieces and assemblies per military specifications.
• Must be able to read blueprints mask parts prime paint part mark engrave clear coat and silk screen assemblies and subassemblies for the aerospace industry.
• Help with ordering painting supplies.
• Maintain all painting equipment including cleanups after use.

Education & Experience & Skills:

• The ideal candidate must have a minimum of a High School diploma.
• Minimum of three (3) years of painting experience.
• This person must have basic mathematical skills and must be able to read blueprints and use measuring tools such as a paint thickness meter.
• Must be able to use a paint gun respirator paint mixer.
• Must be able to read and write in English fluently.
• Knowledge of aerospace and military standards and specifications is a plus.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
• Must be computer literate.
