Job Description

Role Description

This is a fulltime onsite role as a Resource Specialist Program (RSP) Teacher located in Tracy CA. As an RSP Teacher you will be responsible for providing specialized instruction and support to students with learning disabilities. You will collaborate with general education teachers and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement effective teaching strategies. Additionally you will assess student progress make appropriate adaptations to curriculum and ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field
  • Valid California teaching credential with specialization in Special Education
  • Experience working with students with learning disabilities
  • Knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and special education laws and regulations
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Patience empathy and a passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt curriculum to meet individual student needs
  • Experience with assistive technology and instructional strategies for students with disabilities

Requirements

  • Valid California Teaching Credential: Education Specialist Instruction Mild/Moderate
  • AAAS Authorization
  • English Learner Authorization
  • Resume
  • Letter of Introduction
