Job Description

We are excited to partner with Bonify in their search for a Director of People & Culture.

About

Bonifys mission is to enhance the financial lives of our users. As a Berlinbased FinTech startup Bonify enables customers to leverage their credit scores and financial data to their advantage. They provide free and easy access to credit scores allow the addition of relevant data and offer tools along with personalized recommendations to optimize customers financial situations.

Founded in 2015 by former executives from McKinsey and Zalando Bonify has secured significant investment from leading international VCs such as Mosaic Ventures and Ribbit Capital as well as successful entrepreneurs like the founders of Zalando and Raisin. Acquired by SCHUFA in 2023 Bonify continues to operate independently.

Your Mission:

As the Director of People & Culture you will empower Bonify to reach new heights. You will cultivate a robust corporate culture that supports business objectives and design a futureproof talent acquisition strategy. In this key position you will collaborate closely with both the COO and CEO in driving the organizational development and strategic evolution of Bonify.

Develop and foster a customeroriented corporate culture focused on continuous improvement and aligned with key corporate values.

Tasks

Your Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement a comprehensive Learning & Development strategy across various levels including Leadership People and Cultural Development.
  • Enhance processes and procedures across the entire HR organization.
  • Mentor and enhance the skills of the junior HR team.
  • Develop a longterm talent acquisition strategy that is in sync with the organizational and cultural objectives.

Requirements

Your Profile:

  • 7 years of experience in HR ideally as an HR Generalist specializing in Organizational Development advancing corporate culture and implementing Learning and Development programs.
  • Preferably a B2C background to better understand cultural nuances.
  • A visionary in talent acquisition and employer branding.
  • Highly autonomous and proactive with a get things done mentality; startup experience is preferred.
  • A strategic and peoplecentered mindset that favors dynamic continuous feedback and development systems over traditional standardized approaches.
  • Fluent in German (B2)
