Fashion Designer is responsible for researching trends creating design concepts sketching designs selecting fabrics and trims and overseeing the production process. They collaborate with teams to bring their designs to life and ensure they align with the business strategy and current market trends.
Requirements
Fashion designers sketch designs of clothing footwear and accessories. Fashion designers create original clothing accessories and footwear. They sketch designs select fabrics and patterns and give instructions on how to make the products they design.
meeting with clients virtually or during sales visits. demonstrating and presenting products. establishing new business. maintaining accurate records. attending trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings. reviewing sales performance. negotiating contracts and packages.
