Job Description

We are in search of a highenergy and skilled IT Support Specialist to join the IT team of a wellestablished familyowned manufacturing group. With a strong track record of success and a significant market share the group is guided by deeprooted family values and culture. The new team member will be trusted to manage IT functions contributing to a motivated and loyal workforce.


Reports to: Information Technology Manager

Scope of Position:
Provide daily technical support and assistance for our computer systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer onsite email and telephone support for endusers.
  • Install configure and troubleshoot computer hardware and software.
  • Provide functional support for enterprise applications.
  • Manage user accounts in Active Directory and various company websites and applications.
  • Diagnose and resolve network connectivity and VPN issues.
  • Administer security measures antivirus software VPN applications and network support.
  • Perform system updates and upgrades.
  • Monitor and maintain photocopier and printer hardware and related services.
  • Install operating systems patches updates and applications.
  • Maintain accurate and current documentation.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to higherlevel support personnel.

Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Diploma or degree in a computerrelated field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem analysis and resolution abilities.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
  • Proficiency with desktop computer applications operating systems hardware and networking devices.
  • Experience working in a Microsoftbased PC/server environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products (Office Outlook Exchange AD).
  • Solid technical support experience with Windows 7/8/10/11 setup and configuration.
  • Experience with printer and peripheral installation and driver setup.
  • Comprehensive understanding of networking (WAN VPN LAN) routing protocols (DNS TCP/IP) and protocols (HTTP HTTPS).
  • Basic computer programming skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
