Job Posting: Cath Lab Technologist
$20000 Signon Bonus Comes with a 3year commitment. Minimum 1year Cath Lab experience required to qualify for the signon bonus.
Up to $10000 in Relocation Assistance Available: Comes with a 2year work requirement (paid out within 30 days of submission of receipts). If both signon and relocation assistance are received total commitment would be for 3 years.
Salary: Based on years of experience. Range starts from 0 years up to a maximum of 29/30 years.
Shift/Weekend Rotation: Monday Friday; 8hour shifts from 7am 3:30pm.
Call Schedule: Minimum of 8 shifts/month including 12 weekends/month.
Volume/Caseload: 30 scheduled cases per week.
Types of Procedures: TCAR AAA Peripheral Vascular Pacemakers Defibrillators Right and Left Heart Cath STEMI and Stroke.
Shift Differentials: Pay is based on the majority of hours worked.
Evening Shift (3pm 11:30pm): 8%
Night Shift (11:00pm 7:30am): 11%
No Weekend Differential
Job Description:
The Cath Lab Technologist works in the cardiovascular catheterization laboratory operating radiographic fluoroscopic equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsibilities include assisting physicians technologists and nurses maintaining a customerfriendly environment and participating in call rotation with variable shift scheduling. Compliance with all hospital and regulatory standards is required.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
One of the following certifications:
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT)
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
At least one year of experience in diagnostic and interventional procedures in a cardiac and/or general catheterization laboratory
At least one year of experience in digital and cine imaging and archiving
Proficiency in Xray Monitoring and Scrubbing
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 3 months of hire (training provided if necessary)
