Position: Farm Manager Organic Agricultural Farming and Livestock

Location: Muscat Muscat Governorate Oman

Contract Details: Fulltime

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Manager to oversee our organic agricultural farming and livestock operation in Muscat Oman. The ideal candidate will be a UK national with a strong background in organic farming and a passion for sustainable agriculture.

As the Farm Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of the farms operations including crop production livestock care and farm maintenance. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all farming practices are in line with organic standards and principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a strategic plan for the farm including crop rotation livestock management and sustainable farming practices

Manage all aspects of crop production including planting irrigation pest control and harvesting

Oversee the care and wellbeing of all livestock including feeding breeding and health management

Ensure compliance with organic farming standards and maintain necessary certifications

Manage a team of farm workers and provide training and guidance as needed

Monitor and maintain farm equipment and facilities

Develop and manage a budget for the farm including purchasing supplies and managing expenses

Market and sell farm products to local markets and restaurants

Maintain accurate records and reports on farm production and financials

Stay uptodate on industry trends and best practices in organic farming and livestock management

Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to achieve overall business goals and objectives

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Agriculture Farm Management or related field
• 15 years of proven experience in which 5 years in leadership role within the organic farming and livestock management preferably from Europe region.
• Strong knowledge of organic farming practices and principles
• Experience managing a team and overseeing farm operations
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and farm management software
• Valid drivers license and ability to operate farm equipment
• Willingness to relocate to Muscat Oman and work a fulltime schedule including weekends and holidays as needed
