Backend Developer

Job Summary:
We are seeking someone to join our team and contribute to the development of scalable and efficient backend systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java Spring Boot PostgreSQL Hibernate testing frameworks and Google Cloud Platform.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and develop backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
Implement database schemas queries and optimizations in PostgreSQL with Hibernate ORM.
Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate frontend components with backend services.
Ensure the security performance and reliability of backend systems.
Write unit tests integration tests and endtoend tests using testing frameworks such as JUnit Mockito and Selenium.
Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
Implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
Leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services for building scalable and reliable cloud applications.
Integrate with GCP services such as Google Cloud Storage
Work closely with frontend developers designers and other stakeholders to deliver highquality software solutions.
Participate in agile/scrum ceremonies to plan and prioritize tasks effectively.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science Engineering MIS or related field.
2 years of experience in backend development using Java and Spring Boot.
Proficiency in writing SQL queries.
Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit Mockito and Selenium.
Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and experience in deploying applications using CI/CD pipelines on GCP.
Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to troubleshoot and optimize existing systems for performance and scalability.
Proven experience in the complete software development lifecycle (design to deployment).
Ability to work with crossfunctional teams and contribute to collaborative development efforts.
Strong understanding and application of common design patterns.
Experience in the FinTech industry is a plus.
