Job Description

Job Title:Relationship Support Officer

Overview:

Assist the Relationship Support Mangers and the Relationship managers and Senior Relationship Managers with both credit and administration matters relating to the existing client portfolio new client development and other relevant departmental tasks to help deliver the IFS strategic business objectives.

What You Will Be Doing:

Supporting the Relationship Managers and Relationship Support Managers in the development and management of a profitable and sustainable UK Islamic financial services business inline with budgeted strategies approved by ABCIB Board.

Particular focus on:

  1. Customer Due diligence including KYC and client on boarding.
  2. Undertake Annual reviews of existing exposures with timely submission of CAF as per current guidelines.
  3. Assist RSMs and RMs with new credit applications
  4. Support with commodity trades for IFS when required
  5. Maintain a diary for Covenant monitoring to be updated on weekly basis assist with the collection of monitoring certificates accounts and other relevant documents as per approved credit terms.
  6. Manage invoices and related payments
  7. Work closely with other IFS team members
  8. Ensure Customer satisfaction by providing a timely service and responses
  9. Attend client meetings where appropriate produce call reports and update client files accordingly
  10. Comply with regulatory issues including money laundering and KYC procedures Credit/Risk procedures Shariah and Compliance
  11. Maintain Alburaq Valuation
  12. Proactive approach to identification and management of potential risk positions within IFS alerted to Head of IFS and Risk Management as soon as they become apparent
  13. Constant awareness of synergies and collaboration across the organization. Be aware of other product areas and to assist where necessary to give crossdisciplinary coverage.

Represent the best interests of the bank and the Group in all client meetings.
