JOB PURPOSE:
As a Logistics Business Development Manager with a focus on the operational sector your primary objective is to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the courier companys operational processes while contributing to its growth and profitability. You will play a pivotal role in identifying opportunities to streamline operations optimize resource allocation and improve service delivery standards. Your responsibilities will span across various aspects of operations including but not limited to inventory management supply chain optimization route planning and warehouse operations.
JOB DISCERPTION:
1. Conduct indepth analysis of current operational processes identify inefficiencies and propose actionable solutions to improve productivity and reduce costs.
2. Utilize data analytics and logistics software to optimize route planning minimize delivery times.
3. Oversee warehouse operations including receiving storage and dispatch of shipment to ensure efficient utilization of space and resources while maintaining inventory accuracy.
4. Implement quality control measures to ensure the shipment distribution goes on the service type and SLA thereby enhancing customer satisfaction and brand reputation.
5. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including sales marketing and customer service to align operational strategies with business objectives and customer needs.
6. Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions to operations ensuring business continuity and customer satisfaction.
7.Establish KPIs to monitor operational performance track progress and identify opportunities for further improvement.
8. Build and lead a highperforming operational team by recruiting training and mentoring staff members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
9. Develop training programs and materials to onboard new team members and provide ongoing training to existing staff on operational procedures safety protocols and best practices.
10.Implement performance management processes to set clear performance expectations provide regular feedback and recognize and reward team members for their contributions.
11.Identify and develop potential future leaders within the team to ensure continuity and sustainability of operational excellence.
12.Monitor team performance against established KPIs identify areas for improvement and take proactive measures to address performance gaps through training coaching or process adjustments.

Pay: BD500.000 BD700.000 per month
