WHAT YOULL BE DOING

As the Global Payroll Supervisor you will oversee and supervise the organizations payroll department and functions. It will be your responsibility to ensure that pay is processed on time accurately and in compliance with government regulations for domestic and international payrolls.

SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and improving the our clients payroll process serving employees across the companys global footprint (US Europe Asia and Israel)
  • Overseeing the daily weekly monthly quarterly and annual workflow of the department
  • Supervising the global payroll processing team including training performance evaluation skill development coaching interviews and hiring
  • Leads the team to ensure the processing of payroll transactions including salaries benefits garnishments taxes and other deductions.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires terminations and changes to pay rates.
  • Ensuring compliance with federal state and local payroll wage and hour laws and best practices serving as the company subject matter expert.
  • Assisting with global auditing of our payroll process as a main point of contact with auditors
  • Identifying and implementing changes to our current practices that improve quality and efficiency interfacing with the HRIS Finance and HR teams and most importantly our teammates worldwide

QUALIFICATIONS

We are seeking:

Someone who takes ownership of the work they do. Someone who works with both a big picture and high level of detail mindset. Someone who enjoys hitting deadlines providing subject matter expertise and consultation while striving to meet the needs of others

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a payroll generalist in a multicycle payroll system. Strong preference for global payroll experience
  • Bachelors degree required. Degree in business accounting finance or an equivalent field would be a plus; Masters degree in like field preferred
  • Minimum 4 years experience configuring and managing payroll through an HRIS
  • Experience with Ceridian Dayforce is preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing employees

Other Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong MS Excel skills including creation and use of VLOOKUP functions pivot tables and complex formulas
  • Ability to remain professional and calm in the face of adversity
  • Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization effectively
  • Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks while maintaining status communication with stakeholders
  • Ability to actively listen to stakeholder needs and confirm understanding
  • Unquestionable ethics and integrity with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive employee and company information.
  • Selfmotivated to explore established systems and processes in to improve performance quality and efficiency

Youll also need to be able to:

  • Travel up to 20% of the time as needed for business.
  • Read write speak and comprehend the English language.
  • See both distance and details at close range within a few feet of the observer (with or without corrective lenses).
  • Identify and understand the speech of another person (with or without a personal auditory hearing device).
  • Work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business across multiple time zones including occasionally arriving early staying late on a moments notice and occasional evening and weekend work.
