Key Responsibilities:
- Obtains and reviews patient insurance information and eligibility verification to obtain priorauthorizations for injections DME Procedures and surgeries.
- Obtains priorauthorizations and referrals from insurance companies prior to procedures or Surgeries utilizing online websites or via telephone.
- Provides insurance companies with clinical information necessary to secure priorauthorization or referral.
Role Prerequisites:
- Minimum 1 year and above experience in Prior Authorization
- Good understanding of the medical terminology and progress note.
