Job Description
Title: Integration Technician
Location: Kent WA
Duration: 6 Months Extension or Conversion to full time.
Pay Rate:$45/Hr on W2 (WO Benefits)

Engine Integration Technician
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Engine Integration Technician
- You will perform handson assembly and maintenance of cuttingedge rocket engine turbo machinery. You will share in the teams impact on all aspects of Turbo pump assembly disassembly testing and tool/fixture design. You will also provide critical feedback to make improvements concerning process control capability and repeatability.
Shifts available: Weekend Shift Friday Sunday (5 pm 5:30 am)
Will need to be able to train on a normal day shift (Monday Friday)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Precision assembly of rocket engines
- Detailed component inspection using calipers micrometers etc. to tolerances of 0.0001
- Coordinating hardware processing such as inspection cleaning and shipping
- Hardware management under critical cleanliness requirements (liquid oxygen service)
- Safely working with hazardous systems containing chemicals and/or high pressure
- Assist engineers in reviewing design concepts providing feedback for improvements
- Familiarity working with assembly fixture tooling
- Review and follow work instructions for complex mechanical installations
- Innovate to improve processes and increase efficiency of operations

- 3 years of experience with the assembly of turbo machinery/propulsion systems aircraft or automotive engines or other highly technical machinery.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals/detailed work instructions.
- Strong mechanical competence with the ability to use hand and power tools.
- Ability to accurately use precision measurement and inspection tools
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to earn trust maintain positive and professional relationships and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
- Climb ladders & stairs and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. for limited durations of time.
- 5 years experience in propulsion assembly integration and testing.
- Associate degree in a technical field.
- Knowledge of precision inspection equipment.
- Experience with critical sealing surface requirements.
- Experience with thread insert installation and thread tapping tools.
- A&P license or equivalent experience in integration and test of propulsion systems.
- Experience operating heavy lifting equipment such as overhead cranes and forklifts on flight hardware.
- Experience with 3D measurement tools such as Faro Arms/Trackers and Verisurf software.
- Knowledge in the use of 3D CAD tools (CREO is preferred) and ability to read and interpret GD&T per ASME Y14.5M1994 standard.
