This is a rare and highly exciting opportunity to lead the Food operation at our Flagship pub. With a busy pub and a dedicated events space to cater for the opportunities to stretch your creativity are everpresent.
As the Head Chef you will lead menu development kitchen management and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation. We are seeking an individual who shares our love for food embraces creativity and has exceptional culinary skills whilst developing a strong culture of excellence and inspiring your brigade in the process. Working alongside the Head Chef of our events space you will oversee the overall operation and curate the menu for the pub owning the creation implementation and delivery of the dishes whilst also supporting and guiding the delivery and execution of the events business alongside the head chef of The Little Fox and not forgetting our new outside pizza kitchen offering sourdough pizzas alongside our exceptional craft beer ranges.
About you...
Our kitchens are dynamic fast paced and high volume so you will have experience of being a Head Chef Chef Manager Kitchen Manager or Senior Sous Chef in a busy premium fresh food environment. You will be responsible for the food culture within your pub working closely with the pub manager to drive the business forward helping to formulate seasonal menus with our Executive Chefs. We are looking for a confident leader who will nurture their team and create an inclusive and supportive environment. You ll also need excellent business acumen to manage a wellrun kitchen keeping on top of your stock GPs and labour controls.
