As an Oracle EBS Application Database Administrator (DBA) you will:
  • Manage and execute cloning and database refreshes for both ERP and nonERP environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Apps DBA activities.
  • Perform EBS DBA Sysadmin tasks and responsibilities.
  • Execute backup and recovery operations including RMAN and hot backups.
  • Apply Oracle Application and DB patches effectively.
  • Conduct schema migrations and handle export/import processes (Schema Tablespace Table Export) and data pump operations.
  • Set up implement and troubleshoot RAC databases.
  • Administer Oracle Application DBA tasks for versions R12.1 and R12.2.
  • Configure set up and troubleshoot Data Guard.
  • Perform database upgrades particularly to versions 18C and 19C.
  • Upgrade EBS applications to version 12.2.X.
  • Handle EMrelated tasks including DB discovery agent installation.
  • Build new databases along with EBS application setups.
  • Manage database and application migrations.
  • Set up external nodes and reverse proxy configurations.
  • Participate in yearly DR drills for EBS and support DR activities.
  • Migrate EBS applications and database platforms.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Oracle EBusiness Suite Application Database Administration.
  • Expertise in cloning and database refreshes for both ERP and nonERP environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for Apps DBA activities.
  • Solid experience with EBS DBA Sysadmin tasks.
  • Proficiency in backup and recovery operations including RMAN and hot backups.
  • Handson experience with Oracle Application patches and DB patches.
  • Proven ability in schema migrations and export/import processes (Schema Tablespace Table Export) and data pump operations.
  • Experience in the setup implementation and troubleshooting of RAC databases.
  • Advanced knowledge of Oracle Application DBA (R12.1 R12.2).
  • Competence in Data Guard setup and configuration including troubleshooting.
  • Experience in database upgrades specifically to versions 18C and 19C.
  • Proven experience in upgrading EBS applications to 12.2.X.
  • Knowledge of EMrelated tasks such as DB discovery agent installation.
  • Experience in building new databases along with EBS application setups.
  • Proven experience in database and application migrations.
  • Experience in setting up external nodes and reverse proxy configurations.
  • Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux.
  • Preferable knowledge of shell or Perl scripting.
  • Experience with Oracle Exadata PCA and automation tools like Ansible Puppet Terraform is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills are desirable.
