TEACHER KS2 FT Role Up to 41333 Durham

JOB SUMMARY

Contract Type: Fixed Term

Working Pattern: Full time

Salary:

Required from 01/09/2024 until 31/08/2025

Seeking to appoint an enthusiastic committed and creative teacher with outstanding KS2 knowledge.

We are looking for someone who:


Evidence of good practice from teaching required.
Has the ability and drive to accelerate progress and raise achievement
Is committed to supporting the distinctively Christian ethos of the school
Understands the needs of all children and families in order to close any gaps in learning and wellbeing
Can work effectively as part of a very strong team
Can deliver a dynamic and stimulating learning environment to engage all pupils
Has energy good sense of humour and motivation to achieve excellence
Can provide an additional specialism that would enhance our wider school provision

Willing to uphold and promote the distinctively Christian ethos of the school


*Essential Criteria:

Qualified Teacher status

Degree or Degree / PGCE

ALevels

Evidenced in a concise wellstructured application form. Originals of all Qualifications must be produced.

Experience of:

High quality teaching in KS2 within a school.

Experience of working with SEN pupils within a whole class setting.

  • Safeguarding in a Primary School.

Knowledge and understanding of:

The theory and practice of providing effectively for the individual needs of all children (e.g. classroom organisation and learning strategies)

Effective teaching and learning styles.

The monitoring assessment recording and reporting of pupils progress.

What constitutes quality and high standards in learning within KS2 teaching and how to sustain this.

The statutory requirements of legislation concerning Equal Opportunities Health & Safety SEN and Child Protection.

  • The positive links necessary within school and with all its stakeholders

Evidence of previous Lesson Observation Grades from University College or current School.
