Job Description

Role: Regional Support Manager Elderly Care Homes Scotland
Head Office: Bushey Hertfordshire

Locations: Dumfries Dundee Greenock Helensburgh
OTE Salary: £96000

Queens Park Care is working with a valued client looking to recruit a Regional Support Manager for their Scotland region. The position will cover four mediumsized care homes in
Dumfries Dundee Greenock and Helensburgh.

Our client operates five care homes across the UK with two more pending contract completion. They are committed to providing their residents with the highest standards of care and believe in a friendly and homely atmosphere where residents can live a full life.


You Will Be Responsible For:
  • To carry out specific operational or quality projects within a Home or across the area as directed by the Owners.
  • To provide robust and professional leadership in the Homes and to ensure the efficient and economical use of preagreed resource level.
  • Providing advice and support to Home Managers and senior staff in a Home to assist them in achieving the highest standards of care and quality.
  • Responsible for retaining and recruiting quality staff.
  • Undertaking operational and quality project work in relation to a specific Home or Homes within the area i.e. budgeting management reviews audits or investigations team building mentoring and training.

Interview Process:

The interview process will be in a twostage format.
  • Stage One – Video call interview with the Owners
  • Stage Two Inperson interview with the SMT

The Candidate:
  • Proven track record of achievements in Home Management within medium/large residential dementia and nursing homes.
  • A nursing qualification (RGN/RMN) with an active PIN is desirable.
  • Care home acquisition exposure is desirable.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Strong understanding of clinical issues/audits.
  • Highly resilient and able to progress change and lead people through it.
  • An understanding of employment law and the HR process is desirable.
  • Multisite experience would be advantageous.
  • Must be a car driver and comfortable with occasional overnight stays.

Remuneration Package and Benefits:
  • OTE £96000
  • 20% annual bonus
