Job Opportunity: Assistant Spa Manager & Aesthetic Therapist

Location: Stellenbosch Western Cape

Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Aesthetic Therapist who will also assume the responsibilities of an Assistant Spa Manager. This combined role involves delivering aesthetic treatments and supporting the Spa Manager in ensuring efficient operations within the treatment department.

Responsibilities:

Aesthetic Treatments:

• Perform dermaplaning microneedling and other beauty and Aesthetics treatments.
  
• Maintain high treatment quality standards and exceptional customer service.
  
• Stay informed about the latest aesthetic procedures and products.
  

Assistant Spa Manager Duties:

• Assist in managing daily spa operations.
  
• Foster positive relationships among staff within the department.
  
• Conduct department inspections and provide detailed reports.
  
• Ensure treatment desks are always staffed.
  
• Equitably distribute workload among therapists.
  
• Uphold cleanliness and presentation standards.
  
• Address customer complaints promptly.
  
• Manage stock control and consumable orders.
  
• Create rosters for Spa Therapists.
  
• Handle cashing up duties.
  
• Understand the scheduling booking system.
  
• Update checklists based on operational needs.
  
• Process online orders and coordinate with couriers.
  
• Maintain accurate online stock records.
  

Requirements:

• 23 years of experience as a Senior Aesthetics Therapist (essential).
  
• Relevant qualification in aesthetics (e.g. Masters Diploma in Aesthetician ITEC CIDESCO or SAAHSP).
  
• Passionate about healing and wellness.
  
• Fluent in English.
  
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  
• Wellgroomed and professional.
