Job Description
Adelphi is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for an as needed role in a Veterans Home in Marshalltown Iowa. The candidate should have 3 years experience in providing occupational therapy services to elderly chronically ill and cognitively and physically challenged patients.

Must be skilled with elderly chronically ill and cognitively and physically challenged patients.
Responsibilities:
Assess motor function and personalsocial development of residents at the state facility.
Provide treatment to residents across all levels of care as identified by the primary provider.
Perform occupational therapy assessments and evaluations using appropriate tests and professional observations.
Collect and use supplementary information for comprehensive evaluations.
Document services performed for each resident in the facility s electronic medical record system (ADL)
Must ensure that suitable measures are taken to assure the confidentiality of the facility and its residents at all times and abides by a professional code of ethics.
Providing monthly supervision hours oversight and direction for one Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
