Job Description

AnyPlace MD is seeking a skilled Trauma Surgeon to join our team. This position requires coverage for Weekend Call at a Level II Trauma Center. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing Trauma and General Surgery call coverage as well as caring for Trauma/Acute Care Surgery Service patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide coverage for Trauma and General Surgery call during weekends.
Round on all admitted patients for Trauma Services and Acute Care Surgery Services from approximately 9 am to 12 pm on Saturday and Sunday with a census ranging from 15 to 20 patients.
Respond to all Code 1 Trauma activations within 15 minutes as per Level II trauma center requirements.
Schedule:
Starting midJune one weekend per month thereafter (exact dates to be determined).




Requirements

Board Certification or Eligibility in Surgical Critical Care is mandatory.
ACLS certification.
Experience: Must have handled a minimum of 50 surgical or consultative patients in the last 12 months.
Proficiency with EPIC and Dragon dictation tools.

We will consider candidates eligible for the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
