Intern Working Student Finance - Venture Capital Berlin Germany mfd

We are hiring a finance intern or working student to join our team in Berlin Germany.

BlueYard is a small thesisdriven venture capital firm based in Berlin. The fund invests in early stage technology startups and crypto networks mainly across Europe and the US. We believe in a transparent and respectful work environment with open lines of communication and recognition of hard work. As an intern at BlueYard you will report directly to the VP Finance and work closely with our finance department.

Tasks

YOUR ROLE:

• Prepare and manage invoices
• Sort accounting receipts and assist in expense reporting
• Update reporting and analysis tools
• Support the preparation of financial reports
• Help with preparatory work for the annual audit
• Support the finance team in administrative tasks and ad hoc projects

Requirements

YOUR EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Fulltime student in Accounting Finance Business Administration Controlling or other relevant accounting / finance degree
• A good understanding of accounting rules eager to learn and dive deep in finance topics
• Analytical and quantitative skills
• Reliable and an eye for detail
• Good knowledge in GSuite and Office products
• Handson mentality: We are a small team no task is too small or unimportant
• Fluency in English (spoken and written) proficiency in German
