We are looking for an outstanding individual who wants to join an exciting early stage startup as a Junior Operations & Data Analyst (Intern) to work closely with our senior management and a highly motivated team.

Tasks

As Junior Operations & Data Analyst (Intern) you will join the team fulltime for a 6 months internship and support the Operations Managers and sales team in flawlessly executing sales support and operations processes. You will be exposed to a broad range of areas of the company that will evolve in parallel with the needs of Vanilla Steel. This will include:

• Automating existing process workflows to reduce manual work and improve process stability and scalability
• Analyzing and identifying key bottlenecks and give recommendations or create own solutions
• Execution of operational activities of the trading platform (ensuring a smooth launch of new material listings supporting posttransaction processes)
• Supporting revenue operations including customer invoicing accounts receivable and payment collections

Requirements

• Recent graduate or student taking a gap year
• Studies in Mechanical Engineering or Material Science
• Advanced knowledge in Excel/Google Sheets
• Strong quantitative skills able to handle large amounts of data
• A basic understanding of business processes and ideally have already worked with data in the context of the corporate function marketing and communication.
• First experience with Looker Tableau or other dashboarding tools
• Entrepreneurial drive genuine curiosity and handson mentality
• A selfstarter with a track record of achievements
• Ambitious resultsoriented and targetdriven mentality
• Solid organizational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in English
