Facilities Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities • Perform repairs, renovations, and preventive maintenanceon customer facilities. • Remodel, retrofit, and repairinterior and exterior structures made of wood, light gauge metal,drywall, or plaster, and the associated plumbing systems. • Inspect completed work for conformance withspecifications, requirements and compliance with applicablebuilding and safety codes and regulations; inspect related work bycontractors. • Plan, install, repair, alter, and / orreplace furnishings, fixtures, equipment, appliances, and finishesto include doors, flooring, ceilings, and cabinets as necessary.Requirements • Active in Scope TS / SCI security clearance. • Five years of relevant facility maintenance experience. • Experience with maintenance of residential andcommercial plumbing fixtures and systems. • Knowledge ofwelding and sheet metal fabrication for minor maintenance andrepair of flashing, ducting, fencing, turnstiles, signage, andother structural components. • Must be able to safely usemanual tools and power equipment common in the construction trades. • Understanding of the Air Force or Army culture, languageand expectations for mission success
