We are looking to speak to a strong shop floor or fresh food Duty Manager who would love to be part of a new success story. The store maintains exceptional standards boasting a bustling atmosphere free parking and an extensive selection of fresh foods including an instore bakery and butchers. Were seeking an enthusiastic individual with solid experience in the retail grocery or food service sector eager to grow within a topperforming supermarket group and potentially advance to managerial roles within the retail network. Responsibilities for this Grocery Supermarket Floor Manager Job:

• Shop minding ensuring the store runs smoothly and maintaining the standards whilst managing the store ensuring the store is prepared going into the next week or setup for the afternoon and evening.
  
• As a Duty Manager you will be assigned specific departments to ensure effective growth of these areas by maintaining availability as agreed driving profitability and sales liaising and coordinating with your suppliers to ensure pricing and stock levels are controlled using proper SOPs to control waste
  
• Taking responsibility for the teams in your departments while shop minding developing and coaching teams learning more about performance management like conflict resolution and motivating colleagues rota planning etc.
  
• KPI and target management you will enhance your commercial acumen of how the shop makes money controls costs effectively and drives productivity
  
• Customer service using your experience in professionally resolving complaints developing a good customer service strategy to entice more customers increase footfall and retain customers
  

The ideal candidate for this Grocery Supermarket Floor Manager Job:

• Have strong attention to detail
  
• People management skills
  
• Must demonstrate good business acumen able to understand sales P&L margins and waste
  
• Grocery or fresh food knowledge ideally within Retail Supermarkets Catering or Cafe environments would be essential for this job.
  
• Organisational skills demonstrate the ability to prioritise tasks meet deadlines and achieve results in a high pressured environment
  
• Able to lead teams and on your own initiative
  
• Flexible to work different shifts mornings and evenings
