Bilingual Special Education Teacher

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is actively seeking a passionate and dedicated Bilingual Special Education Teacher to join our team and serve school districts across Illinois. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing highquality special education services to bilingual students with diverse needs. As a Bilingual Special Education Teacher you will work collaboratively with educators families and other professionals to ensure that all students receive the support they need to succeed academically and socially.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for bilingual students with special needs ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  
• Provide direct instruction and support to students in various settings including inclusive classrooms resource rooms and selfcontained classrooms.
  
• Utilize bilingual skills to conduct assessments deliver instruction and communicate effectively with students and families.
  
• Adapt and modify curriculum and instructional materials to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
  
• Collaborate with general education teachers specialists and support staff to create inclusive learning environments and support student progress.
  
• Monitor and document student progress adjusting instructional strategies and interventions as necessary.
  
• Participate in IEP meetings parentteacher conferences and other meetings as required providing clear and effective communication in both English and Spanish.
  
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school district policies and special education regulations.
  
• Provide training and support to school staff and families on strategies for supporting bilingual students with special needs.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
  
• Valid Illinois teaching license with LBS1 (Learning Behavior Specialist 1) endorsement.
  
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
  
• Experience working with students with special needs preferably in a bilingual or multicultural setting.
  
• Strong knowledge of special education laws regulations and best practices.
  
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with advances in special education and bilingual education.
