For our Speech Therapy Service which is one of the largest speech therapy providers in Chicago working with three major hospitals and 300 home health agencies is looking for several Speech Language Pathologists for patients in Chicago and surrounding areas.

The roles and responsibilities are as follows:

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough assessments of patients speech language and swallowing disorders.

Establish accurate diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.

Develop and implement effective speech and language therapy interventions to address patients needs.

Provide rehabilitation services to improve communication articulation language expression and swallowing function.

Monitor and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Maintain detailed and accurate patient records documenting assessments progress and treatment plans.

Prepare and submit timely reports to physicians healthcare team members and other relevant stakeholders.

Educate patients and their caregivers on speech and language disorders treatment plans and home exercises.

Guide communication strategies and techniques to facilitate optimal patient functioning.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals including physicians nurses and occupational therapists to ensure integrated and coordinated patient care.

Participate in regular team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient progress and treatment strategies.

Adhere to professional and ethical standards in speechlanguage pathology practice.

Stay informed about industry regulations and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Qualifications:

1. Education:

Masters degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology from an accredited program.

2. Licensure and Certification:

Valid and active state licensure as a SpeechLanguage Pathologist.

Certificate of Clinical Competence in SpeechLanguage Pathology (CCCSLP) from the American SpeechLanguageHearing Association (ASHA).

3. Experience:

Minimum of X years of experience as a SpeechLanguage Pathologist with a preference for home health experience.

4. Skills:

Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in speechlanguage pathology.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Proficient in using relevant assessment tools and therapeutic techniques.

5. Attributes:

Compassionate and patientcentered approach to care.

Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
