Junior Cybersecurity Analyst

Position Summary:We are seeking a motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Junior Cybersecurity Analyst. In this role you will work closely with our senior analysts to monitor detect and respond to cybersecurity threats. You will have the opportunity to gain handson experience in various aspects of cybersecurity including threat analysis incident response and vulnerability management. This is an exciting entrylevel position for someone passionate about cybersecurity and eager to kickstart their career in this dynamic field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor security alerts and events to identify potential threats or suspicious activities.
• Assist in the analysis of security incidents to determine their nature and scope.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to investigate and remediate security incidents in a timely manner.
• Participate in security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Stay uptodate with the latest cybersecurity trends threats and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with security technologies such as SIEM IDS/IPS antivirus and firewalls.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security CEH or similar) are a plus but not required.
