Staff Accountant II

Job Description:

We are looking for a diligent and detailoriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong grasp of accounting principles and practices with a dedication to maintaining accuracy and efficiency. In this role you will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks ensuring regulatory compliance and contributing to the overall financial wellbeing of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
• Conduct general ledger accounting tasks including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Assist in preparing monthly quarterly and annual financial statements
• Support accounts payable and receivable functions
• Perform variance analysis and financial reporting
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting standards
• Participate in both internal and external audits
• Organize and maintain accounting documents and records
• Fulfill other accounting duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
• Preferred 13 years of accounting experience
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities
• Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal capabilities
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Willingness to adapt and thrive in a fastpaced work environment
