Construction Site Supervisor - Secret Clearance

Our client is seeking a trustworthy proactive individual with a Government Secret Clearance to join their expanding team as a Working Site Supervisor. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities including staff management project oversight safety protocol enforcement and site procedure implementation. The ideal candidate is experienced responsible and teamoriented capable of performing physical labor and operating various hand and power tools as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Oversee daytoday operations on commercial and retail construction sites ensuring highquality standards.
• Scheduling: Collaborate with the project management team to develop and maintain construction schedules ensuring timely completion of project milestones.
• Team Supervision: Manage schedule and supervise subcontractors and field employees to ensure efficient work and excellent service delivery.
• Leadership: Ensure projects are executed according to approved construction plans specifications and codes maintaining high standards throughout.
• Reporting: Maintain detailed daily reports tracking site progress events inspections and other relevant information.
• Multiproject Oversight: Supervise multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 68 years of site supervisory experience in commercial construction.
• Expertise in reading blueprints.
• Experience with both interior fitups and new commercial building construction.
• Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
• Thorough handson knowledge of Building Codes.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and listening.
• Ability to motivate and manage construction workers effectively.
• Safetyoriented with a thorough understanding of all safety requirements and regulations.
• Scheduleoriented with a commitment to delivering quality finished products ontime and onbudget.
• Uptodate safety certifications in WHMIS CSA Supervisors Training Safety Awareness First Aid Working at Heights and Elevated Work Platform.
• Ability to perform handyman tasks as needed with mandatory carpentry skills and tool usage.

• $75000.00 $90000.00 per year
