Client is seeking a talented Oracle Database Engineer to join our team at either our Gurgaon or Bangalore office. As an Oracle Database Engineer you will play a crucial role in designing developing implementing and maintaining our Oracle database systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle database administration and a passion for solving complex database challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Oracle database systems including installation configuration and performance tuning.

• Design and implement database structures schemas and data models to support business requirements.

• Develop and optimize SQL queries stored procedures and triggers for efficient data retrieval and manipulation.

• Implement and enforce database security measures including user authentication authorization and data encryption.

• Monitor database performance and capacity utilization proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime.

• Plan and execute database backups restores and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.

• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to troubleshoot applicationrelated database issues and optimize system performance.

• Stay updated with the latest Oracle database technologies and best practices recommending and implementing improvements as needed.

• Document database configurations procedures and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and training purposes.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the database team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.

• 58 years of handson experience in Oracle database administration and development.

• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming languages.

• Solid understanding of Oracle database architecture including RDBMS concepts and features.

• Experience with Oracle database performance tuning query optimization and index management.

• Strong knowledge of database security principles and best practices.

• Familiarity with Oracle tools and utilities such as Oracle Enterprise Manager and SQL Plus.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills with the ability to analyze complex database issues.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work well in a team environment.

Oracle certification (e.g. Oracle Certified Professional) is a plus.
