Weekend Requirements: Every other Weekend/Holidays required if needed

Under the direct supervision of the Multisite Director of Food Services manages the daytoday operations of the food service department to achieve highquality food delivery & customer service in the food service department at all campuses.
- Plans administers and directs all unit activities related to resident/patient nutrition care and food service complying with the standards established by Berkshire Health Systems regulatory agencies and clients.
- Leads supervisors diet technicians and patient service staff. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other departments to provide a unified approach to patient/resident care. The level of impact is within its own operation.
- Provides oversight of diet office software menu systems and successful interface of the menu system with food production and service.
- Acts on behalf of the organization managing supervisors and staff to ensure that menu/meal service is provided for all patients as a level consistent with department standards.
- Approve time off vacation and weekly payroll for all food service staff

- Training or ability to train and manage dietary office systems required.

- Ability to interpret and administer standards and policies. Demonstrated leadership ability communication of a strong work ethic and commitment toward excellence in the food service profession.
- Excellent communication skills; communicates effectively with patients family members staff and any other customer.
- Well organized and able to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously.
- Demonstrated understanding of regulatory standards.
- Demonstrated dependability. Effectiveness in confronting problems and resolving conflict.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with employees managers directors and other staff.
- Demonstrated positive attitude initiative and flexibility to provide role model leadership daily
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- 2 years of current nutrition/food service SUPERVISORY or Leadership experience
- FOODSERVICE EMR OR NUTRITION SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED PLEASE NOTE EXPERIENCE ON PROFILE
- A high school diploma required
- Food service management education from an accredited program preferred
- Medical terminology course completion preferred
