Roles and Responsibilities

• FEED/Proposal/Project Engineering involves designing of complex Control and Instrumentation systems Field Instruments F&G detectors Instrument valves & Manual Valves for OnShore and Off Shore Oil and Gas projects based on client specifications and international standards.
• Should have sound knowledge in Engineering Installation and commissioning phase.
• Should have sound knowledge in ANSI ASME IEC NEMA ISA and ISO codes.
• Able to evaluate client specification and provide necessary clarification or exception list based on specifications.
• Able to identify the potential cost impact area in the client specification and provide the appropriate techno commercial solution.
• Able to Prepare and own the Instrumentation design basis Operating & Control philosophy in co ordination with Process and Control System architecture.
• Should have hands on experience in handing control systems of Allen Bradly Siemens Yokogawa Emerson Honeywell and Invensys Engineering and design.
• Able to prepare Control System technical requisition documents like specification IO counts plant control philosophy third party interface details and VDRL.
• Able to evaluate the Control System technocommercial offer & ensure the offer is fully complied to the project requirement finalizing the hardware configuration of the system which includes finalization of I/O counts & hard wares for Subsystem interfacing finalizing software configuration philosophy review & approval of the control logic built by system vendor inline with process requirement.
• Able review control system vendor documents like Hardware functional design specification Software function design specification BOM Panel GA drawings wiring diagram next loading Processer loading and allocation heat dissipation calculation and Power consumption calculation.
• Able to participate FAT / SAT / ISAT and confirm the software logics and hard wares. Should have experience to participate supporting for closeout reports of HAZID HAZOP SIL F&G mapping study & Constructability study.
• Able to provide cost / Man Hour estimates for Control and Instrumentation systems to execute the projects in line with contractual and scope of supply requirements.
• Should have sound knowledge in Proposal work flow and to handle the transition of Proposal to Project phase execution.
• Able to prepare the master deliverable list for the project and work with project team to finalize the schedule of project and monitor control and report the progress of Engineering in line with the project schedule.
• Should be able to adopt company procedures and quality requirements.
• Should have sound knowledge in ASME IEC & ISA standards.
• Review P&IDs to confirm correct instrumentation symbol and control scheme confirm sizes for control

valve relief valve flow element and mounting nozzles for instrumentation.

• Assist in developing P&IDs to ensure compliance with client specifications and/or Cameron standard piping specifications.
