Job Location: Remote

• Looking for an MES Technical Architect with 25 years as an automation or MES specialist with programming infrastructure and system design experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a standard architecture for MES projects that impact digital application landscape guide and help project teams in implementing defined architectures
• Create and maintain a global qualified environment for proof of concepts and global libraries
• Lead focused proof of concept for solution assessment lead technology upgrades develop architecture roadmaps driving new technology implementation and adoption
• Lead technology/platform maturity by applying industry best practices and undertaking technology watch and due diligence
• Develop and evolve architectures across all portfolios eliminate information silos achieve securitybydesign ensure all operational metrics are met
• Mentor and coach developers level up the teams technical skills improve development toolsets and methods
• Manage project lifecycle and commit project delivery in agile methodology
• Provide technical mentoring to developers and analysts.
• Perform code reviews for guidelines and standardizations to provide continuous improvement to customers.
• Build and support the software architecture vision: 25% of your time
• Maintain and improve the extendibility quality and maintainability of our product.
• Share and align architectural vision.
• Agree shared resources and collaborate with other architects.
• Identify and prioritize technical risks and impediments. Improve the efficiency of the engineering team: 25% of your time
• Stimulate expertise acquisition and knowledge diffusion.
• Evaluate technical skill and knowledge of prospective engineers.
• Support project manager in resource and competencies development. Support the program vision for standardization: 50% of your time
• Help product manager and product owner in evaluating the roadmap.
• Identify and implement opportunities for standardization
• Create standard guidelines and playbooks that helps sites and global team technical team implement solutions harmoniously and faster
• Identify technical and planning risks and dependencies on the product backlog.

Other Task includes:

• Manage SNOW tickets and CMDB corrections related to MES projects
• Support and coach sites technical team through the configuration of access rights and user profiles
• Support and coach sites technical team through the configuration of dispensing recipes
• Creation and maintenance of master data
• Support and coach sites technical team in the configuration of scales rooms work centers and stations
• Configuration of equipment related cleaning workflows for rooms and scales Create related procedures work instructions etc as needed by the business
• Maintain and support the MES system used to weigh and dispense raw materials for the production lines including manufacturing calls and understand sense of urgency process improvement
• Support and or perform system upgrades as part of a project delivery team (providing technical guidance work within a timeline requirements gathering design and development testing deployment and hypercare).
• Develop and/or review technical documentation (including but not limited to SOPs URS DS WIs and guidelines process modeling Test Scripts)

Technical Competencies and Requirements:

• BS/BA degree in Computer Science Engineering or related discipline is preferred
• 5 years of experience in the development and support of manufacturing execution systems computerized automation systems and networks.
• Experience working in medium to large project implementations in the Life Sciences industry
• Experience with GxP applications and the product Lifecycle Management implementation
• Knowledge of industry standards (GAMP ISA etc) and regulations (FDA EMEA etc)
• Analyze the data and facts concerning engineering assignments
• Proficiency in applying the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and/or applying Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies
• Demonstrated success in architecting business solutions powered by a mix of vendor solutions/products and inhouse built applications
• Proven ability to execute architectural decisions in challenging projects make best value tradeoffs address stakeholder concerns
• Proven ability to build and maintain successful relationship with project teams technology communities internal/external partners
• Equivalent combinations of education training and relevant work experience may be considered.
• Prior experience working on diverse and broad problems where analysis of a situation or data requires an evaluation of variable factors.
