Job Summary: As the Installations and Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead a team responsible for both proactive and corrective maintenance of access control machinery, such as parking barriers, ticket dispensers, and payment stations. This role involves coordinating with clients and vendors for installations, preparing necessary documentation, configuring and commissioning sites, training clients on system usage, and managing inventory of consumables and spare parts. You will need a strong background in electrical installations, electronics, computer skills, and a basic understanding of civil works.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management: Manage and lead the maintenance team to perform both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks efficiently.
Installation Coordination: Coordinate with clients and other vendors to ensure smooth installation processes and adherence to timelines.
Documentation Preparation: Prepare all necessary installation documentation, including basic AutoCAD drawings, delivery slips, and project handover documents.
Site Configuration and Commissioning: Configure and commission the sites, ensuring all equipment is installed and functioning correctly according to specifications.
Client Training: Conduct training sessions for clients to ensure they are proficient in the use of our systems.
Inventory Management: Oversee and manage inventory of consumables and spare parts, ensuring availability and optimizing stock levels.
Technical Expertise: Maintain and enhance technical knowledge in electrical installations, network and IP configurations, basic Linux and Windows system management, and oversee civil works related to equipment installation.
Qualifications:
Technical degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as a supervisor in installations and maintenance, preferably in access control systems.
Strong knowledge of electrical installations, some electronics, and computer skills (including network and IP configurations, basic Linux and Windows installation and management).
Basic understanding of civil works and the ability to supervise contractors during the installation process.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other technical documentation software.
