Finance Officer

The role holder will provide routine accounting and financial analysis support to the Finance Department. She will take ownership of the monthly review of finance reports bank reconciliations asset & liability account balances and other financial data and ensure compliance with all accounting and company practices and procedures.

Skills :

• Prepare accurate and reliable monthly quarterly and annual forecast business reporting trend analysis and variance for the assigned business functions
• Perform special projects and adhoc financial reporting as required
• Maximize growth and profitability of business unit with overall responsibility for budgeting forecasting and business plans.
• Create and maintain detailed forecasts for revenue cost and profit.
• Support the business to drive and improve performance this includes delivering analysis drawing conclusions on changes required and presenting these to senior business stakeholders.
• Monitor financial results and estimates during closing and identify issues and to assist corporate accounting team resources.
• Make recommendations for corrective actions for improper or illegal expenditures and accounting funds
• Management reporting for daily and monthly key performance indicators
• Interpret financial performance results and translate them into operational improvements.

Key performance measure

• Conduct quantitative analysis regarding past and future performance of revenue expenses vehicles or locations/markets.
• Synthesize data into actionable insights and communicate resulting strategy changes to audiences at all levels. Ability to create edit and utilize visual analytics tools to present compelling data
• Build partnerships with other departments to ensure business targets are met and to identify trends or business issues. Elevate concerns and recommended actions to leadership
• Work closely with key personnel across the organization to understand and interpret financial performance;
• Identify opportunities to improve revenue and/or reduce costs.
