Software Project Leader

• To manage interactions and communications with internal/external resources and other engineering departments.
  
• Prepare and propose project planning for new development projects and to establish product transfer planning.
  
• To ensure project members have appropriate technical specification direction and resources to deliver task completion effectively.
  
• To establish realistic timeline estimations for tasks and at the same time ensuring they still remain on target to meet deadlines.
  
• Review product/feature requirements and review work effort estimation.
  
• Work closely with other engineering groups to evaluate the interface between hardware and software and the operational and performance requirements of the overall system.
  
• Provide technical input on software product development and triumph new software project planning.
  
• Spearheading software product development and continuously looking for opportunity to materialize product roadmap.
  
• May work on software development (case to case).
  
• Any other adhoc assignments within the scope of main objectives.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
  
• Minimum 8 years of experience in software programming or machine automation industry.
  
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software project management.
  
• Strong background in software programming (C C) OOP and nonOOP.
  
• Good technical writing ability.
  
• Able to determine requirements of software projects.
  
• Effective verbal and written communication skills able to convey technical information clearly and ideas.
  
• Ability to adapt to different environments and work based on priorities.
  
• Experience in the Semiconductor industry is an advantage.
  
• Familiar with development involving hardware such as motors sensors or actuators is an advantage.
  
• Strong commitment to project deliverables and continuous productivity improvement with continuous improvement mindset.
  
• Strong ethics diplomatic patience good listening skills and can interact with a diverse group of individuals.
