Business Analyst IT II Intermediate

Job Title: Business Analyst (IT): II (Intermediate)
Location : MN Fully Remote
Duration: 6 Months Contract to Hire

Experience working with Agricultural Retail business(must have this exp)***

IT has created a new Business Systems Analyst role to join the Digital Farm Management delivery team. You must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written be detail oriented able to work in a team environment and independently and be able to solve complex problems.

Responsibilities
Act as an IT Business Analyst for the Digital Farm Management team at one of the largest cooperatives in the world
Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and factfinding combined with a good understanding of business systems industry requirements and available IT solutions
Take ownership of support activities for assigned applications
Analyze business and user needs document requirements/user stories and manage development of simple enhancements or simple development projects
Provide test plans and test cases if formal quality assurance resources are not involved. If formal quality assurance resources are involved support the QA resource with test plan and test case efforts
Perform functional testing of enhancements or development efforts and assure proper user acceptance testing of completed projects.
Manage change control requests to production deployment
Provide new user training on supported applications as requested
Quantify business benefits to be delivered by the project or enhancement
Tracking of problems requests and suggestions for assigned applications
Guide business customers through business case development for new applications/functionality including cost/benefit analysis and risk/impact analysis
Identify process efficiencies recommend innovative uses of software functionality design implement solutions and train endusers

Basic Qualifications: (required)
High School Diploma (or equivalent)
4 years of working experience including 1 years of business systems analysis experience to include: Business process definition requirements definition and development and support of integrated business applications
Experience working with Agricultural Retail business

Preferred Qualifications: (desired)
Bachelors degree in Management information Systems Business or related field
Project management experience or certification
Experience with Clients Azure DevOps platform

The ability and willingness to provide oncall duties as needed.
