Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mobile Application Tester with expertise in Appium to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile application testing with a focus on automation using Appium. This role involves designing developing and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and performance of mobile applications across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and execute automated test scripts using Appium for mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms.
• Conduct thorough testing of mobile applications to ensure functionality usability and stability.
• Identify report and track bugs and issues working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Perform regression integration system and performance testing to guarantee robust and reliable application performance.
• Collaborate with developers product managers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test scenarios.
• Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks ensuring they are scalable and efficient.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes and methodologies.
• Provide detailed test reports and documentation to stakeholders highlighting key findings and recommendations.
• Stay uptodate with industry trends and best practices in mobile application testing and automation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Mobile Application Tester with a minimum of X years in the role.
• Handson experience with Appium and other mobile automation testing tools.
• Strong knowledge of mobile application testing frameworks and methodologies.
• Proficiency in testing on both iOS and Android platforms.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality results.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java Python or JavaScript used for writing test scripts.
• Experience with performance and load testing tools.
• Knowledge of project management software and tools.
• Certification in software testing (e.g. ISTQB) is a plus.
