Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts and Audit Manager to join their dynamic team in Glasgow. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience within a busy accountancy firm having worked closely with clients across multiple sectors. This role is perfect for a professional used to a fastpaced client delivery environment who has proven themselves to be a strong communicator and effective in collaborating with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a diverse portfolio of clients ensuring highquality audit and accountancy services.
Oversee and review the preparation of financial statements ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Lead and mentor a team of auditors and accountants providing guidance and support for their professional development.
Conduct detailed risk assessments and develop audit plans tailored to each client s needs.
Maintain and build strong client relationships acting as the main point of contact for client queries and issues.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of audit reports and financial statements.
Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive financial advice to clients.
Stay uptodate with changes in accounting and audit regulations and ensure the firm s practices remain compliant.
Contribute to the strategic development of the firm s audit and accounts department.


Requirements

If you can:
Demonstrate a solid understanding of the full audit cycle; planning fieldwork and completion.
Prepare and review yearend statutory accounts with an understanding of FRS 102.
Supervise and coach a team across both audit and account functions.
Build lasting client relationships.
Research and identify client accountancy issues; with the ability to hold meaningful conversations with clients and colleagues regarding the rules and regulations of doing business in the UK.

And be:
CA or ACCA qualified.
Knowledgeable of WIP (Work In Progress) and fee targets.
Highly proficient in completing audit cycles with solid experience in preparing accounts under FRS 102.
Forwardthinking with a drive for continuous improvement.
A leader who takes pride in developing a team.
Keen for progression.

A qualification in Accounting or Finance 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Attention to detail and accuracy Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
